What is the best fabric combination for nursing pads? Nursing pads are quite easy to make and usually have an absorbent and waterproof layer. Although it's a tough choice as we have a lot of fabrics available that can serve your needs, but we're here to help you sort through the noise. We have partnered with AKAS Tex, Lycra, CoolMax, Cotton Inc & Silvadur to design & create the best fabrics for making cloth nursing pads. We broke down their construction and provided a list of fabrics for each layer so that finding the best combinations is easier than ever.

Cloth nursing pads are usually made with one or two fabrics, either an absorbent layer + waterproof layer or a combo fabric that has the absorbent layer & waterproof layers. The all in one combo fabrics are great as you don't need to do any sewing which saves you even more time and money in the process.

It all depends on the design of the nursing pad and your personal preference.
