• This fabric quickly absorbs heavy moisture (in under 2 seconds!) and soaks it up 20 times faster than organic bamboo cotton fabric, cotton fabric, or hemp knits. If you need your product to keep you dry, our Original Silver Fabric is for you.

• This fabric features SILVADUR Antimicrobial to keep bacteria, fungi, or algae from growing on the fabric. It also controls odors and keeps fabric smelling fresh.

• Multiple tests have proven that SILVADUR is safe for the skin; it’s been tested on bamboo, cotton, and polyester. The testing used 10 times the recommended amount of SILVADUR to make sure it’s safe.

• Two layers of Zorb will work as well as 8 layers of flannel, 6 layers of french terry, and 5 layers of organic fleece.

• This fabric cannot be washed before stitching or serging it between 2 layers of fabric.

• Chemicals (like super absorbent polymers) aren’t used in Zorb products, so their super absorbency lasts as long as the fabric does.

• CPSIA certified, meeting stringent standards by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission on lead and phthalates and flammability.

• All Zorb fabrics are designed to absorb more over time. Using multiple layers of Zorb can increase how much your product absorbs. You can make your product as absorbent as you’d like.

Important Note about UPF Ratings:
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 % of the sun’s rays and allows 2% (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure risk significantly. A UPF 30 fabric blocks 97% of UV rays and allows roughly 3% of UV transmission. UPF 15 indicates that the fabric blocks roughly 93% of UV rays and allows about 7% of available UV radiation to pass through.

• Wash with oxygenated bleach with no chlorine.

• The detergent should not already contain sodium percarbonate (the active ingredient in many oxygenated bleaches), or else you will risk overdoing it on your diapers.

• In addition, please choose a ZERO-RESIDUE detergent as far as possible since detergent residue will lead to leaking, absorbency, and odor.

• The detergent must also not contain any of the following additives: Fabric softeners, Natural oils, Perfumes, Dyes, UV brighteners, Stain guard ingredients, Enzymes.
