The Zorb 3D Origin Story

Today, we'd like to share with you our story of Zorb 3D.

In 2013, one of our customers, (who we'll herein refer to as Jen) approached us to design a super-duper absorbent fabric. Jen had been using our Zorb 2 Dimples fabric in her diaper design. However she wanted something more. Something More Durable! More Absorbent! More Soft! More Thinner! (wait a sec, more thinner? how does that work) A fabric that can be as thin as Zorb 2 Dimples but be able to absorb and hold a lot more, last longer and stay soft over the life of the diaper.

Boy, did Jen put us to work that day. We worked with Jen day & night, to attain her specific goal of super absorbency and comfort level. We spent about 6 months in R&D , followed by another 6 months of market trials . We made some design tweaks along the way to make the fabric thinner and more economical. Finally, after another 2 years of Product Development , we were able to satisfy Jen's needs with our line of Zorb 3D Super Absorbent Fabrics,

  1. Zorb 3D Organic Cotton Dimple
This dual layer reversible natural organic fabric containing 100% organic cotton fibers, is extremely quick to super absorb & hold all moisture
  2. Zorb 3D Bamboo Dimple
With an extremely soft face & back of 70% bamboo, 30% organic cotton, the dual layer reversible fabric is the best choice to use against the skin.
  3. Zorb 3D Stay Dry Dimple
With a face & back of super wicking polyester, the stay dry reversible fabric has excellent wicking properties and 3D Zorb fibers trap & hold all moisture efficiently.

This was just the start of an exciting journey for us. We designed Zorb 3D with Jen's final product in mind - her need for a fabric that is thin yet super absorbent and can outlast other baby diapers on the market.

It was in 2016, that we first started selling our Zorb 3D fabrics on our Wazoodle website and customers LOVED it sooo much that it has jumped up to become our Top Seller . The Zorb 3D fabrics have undergone 3 years of R&D and Market Testing with no complaints already. Now they are being used for blankets, baby apparel wear, mattress covers, bag liners, pet diapers, cage liners, drool pads, wet bags, adult incontinence wear and much more.

Today, Zorb 3D is one of our best-selling fabrics only because it was carefully designed, keeping our customer's needs & end use in mind. The success of our products is largely a result of our quality-conscious vendor-partners who work diligently with us to build safe, compliant manufacturing processes for the textiles.
